New Vegas Pro 16 install will not run

Hi everyone, newbie here. I purchased and installed Vegas Pro 16 last week. I have windows 10 on a Dell XPS 15 computer on a 3rd generation I7 chip. I keep getting the message "Vegas Pro has stopped working". The program never appears, all I get is that message in a white box. I've sent it in with buttons checked off many times and have not heard from anyone. Please help. Thanks!
