Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there; you haven't told us anything about your computer nor even the version of VPX which you are running!

Can you find, download and install the free MediaInfo utility and then point it to one of your .mts files. Post the results to any reply.

One thing to check: does the audio sampling frequency of your files match what VPX is set to use? Normally this will be 48kHz but could be 44.1kHz.

Also, is the audio of your files recorded in some kind of "surround" format?

Hi. Thanks for the update.

But please answer ALL the questions in my post.  We still know very little about your computer. Did you follow the advice to have MediaInfo check the details of your files? Have you ensured that VPX and your video files have the same audio sampling rate?

The fact that Studio 21 can successfully play your files is, unfortunately, no help in diagnosing what the problem is with VPX.

@ruivarela

Can you post a short eg 10 sec clip, with audio, from the camera up to somewhere like Dropbox for us to test - do not post it to the forum, Youtube, Vimeo etc as they will convert the file - we need the file to be as you have it.

Thanks

John EB

Hi.

Thanks for the file. But you were asked to post a "short eg 10 second clip". It's currently downloading to my machine and is already at 265 MB as a zipped file! Thankfully I have quite a fast internet connection; other users may not! I assume from the OneDrive listing you have actually posted the entire 4 minutes 11 seconds file?

Jeff

Later Edit: the download failed, due to a "Network Error" when it was just slightly less than 500MB! You cannot seriously expect users to download a file of such a size. Please export a short range from the file, about 10 seconds, that demonstrates the problem and then post that to OneDrive and provide the link here.

Hi

I have tested the video file in VPX 15.0.5.211 on Windows 10 1709 and it works fine.

Check your audio settings in the Program settings as shown below

If you have the audio on a separate track and the waveform displayed (Ctrl H then Shift+E if not) do you see the audio as shown below?

hello

I have audio and video in separate track and don't display audio curve

browj2 wrote on 2/17/2018, 11:07 AM

Hi Rui,

I also tested the file on my Surface Pro 4. No problem with the audio file.

Did you do the Shift+E to see the audio curve?

Open the mixer and start playback. Do you see any volume gain on track 2, assuming that the audio is on track 2?

The track is not muted by any chance?

Yes nothing do see. No i dont see nothing. No is not muted

johnebaker wrote on 2/17/2018, 3:47 PM

Hi

If you are not seeing anything then there is no audio being imported.

Try the following - right click the video portion of ythe clip and select Audio functions, Restore original sound - if this option is not there then you have the original sound imported.

Can you also post a screenshot of the Program settings (Y key) , Video/audio tab
