Hi

Do the following - keyboard shortcuts are in ():

Right click a video clip and select Audio functions, Audio/Video on seperate tracks (Ctrl+H)

Select the audio track, right click and select Create waveform (Shift E) If the audio is there then you should see a waveform as shown in this example.

If there is no wave form check the program settings (Y), Video/Audio tab, Import video with sound is checked, also check the Playback tab and try changing the playback device from Wave driver to Direct Sound and that the Output device is set to the correct device - these are my settings - yours may be different

If there is no sound and the import and sound settings are correct, check that playing an mp4 from the GoPro in Windows Media Player has sound - if none then you need to check the GoPro.

This audio related question is it not ?

It plays fine in quicktime and if i convert it to wma format and import it there is sound.

I tried your suggestions and changed some other settings and no luck, i couldnt find where to create a waveform tho, can explain that bit a little better for me ?
