Thank you but YES - Quicktime is installed.  But since you asked I tried to play the files in QT and I get the same problem - Just white screen.

Any thouths?

More information would give us a better chance of helping you.

Has this always been the case? What other files have you used successfully in your projects? I don't know anything about your 'JVC Camera' (specific model?) but can you view the videos OK on it?

What methods of importing have you tried? If you transfer or copy the files from your camera to your PC (specs? OS?) can you view them OK with other players?

Use GSpot or MediaInfo to show us the details of the MOV file.

Upload a short example of an MOV to one of the many hosting sites (I use Dropbox) so that we can try it.
