Ozone 9 Elements

I have Sound Forge 14, which comes with Ozone 9 Elements. I have downloaded and installed both, yet when it Ozone 9 does not appear in my menu. When I click on the link under effects (under default layout it's on the left side of the screen), it says: "No suitable Ozone 9 Elements (VST3, 64 Bit) Version was found by SOUND FORGE Audio Studio. Make sure the plugin is installed properly and rescan."

I have reinstalled the plugin several times, and even reinstalled Sound Forge more than once. I have also tried this on more than one computer. What am I doing wrong?

To 'rescan', go to Options/Preferences/VST Effects (tab) and have a look at the 'VST search folders' window. Is there an an entry named 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\'? If yes, hit the Refresh button (bottom RH corner of the context window) and then hit the Apply button once the rescan has completed. If that entry is not there, hit the Add Path button and in the window that opens drill down to that folder on the C drive and then hit OK. Once the scan has completed, hit Apply.

'Common Files' adds the VST3 plugins, but those plugins will almost certainly be available in VST/VST2 32bits and 64bits versions as well. To add these if you want either or both, use the Add Path button and drill down to C:\Program Files\Steinberg (for the 64bits version) and/or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg (for the 32bits version) and hit OK and then Apply after the scan has completed.

Ozone 9 Elements plugins should then appear in the Commands bar under the 'FX Favourites' heading.

Please note that the above is based on SoundForge Pro 14 and may or may not differ with SF Audio Studio which I do not have. But as Audio Studio is a trimmed down version of Pro, it could well be the same process.
