Hi Terry

Try the following:

  1. Locate the videodeluxe.ini file which you should find in the following folder

    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe24_premium

  2. Open the videodeluxe.ini file using Notepad or Notepad++

  3. Locate the section and options shown below

    [NewsFeedControl]
    ItemCount=0
    Settings=1

  4. Your Settings option should be 0, change it to 1 as shown above.

  5. Save the ini file

Check that no Magix services/processes are running in Task Manager - if you see Magix Network Sync and/or a process with a name MagixOfAHelper-Module end the tasks.

Uninstall Magix Network Sync if you do not use it to import from the Cloud.

HTH

John EB

Thanks John. MagixOfAHelper-Module was running. And that INI Settings option was set to 0.

Hopefully that will fix it 🙂

EDIT: Re-opened MEPP 2016 after making that minor INI change and was being regarded as a new user, with no previous projects, no additional downloads, etc. Now realise I hadn't amended your path to MEPP 2016, which is in C:\Users\terry\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxe22_premium!
