Photo Story subset of MEP 2015 Plus?

I bought MEP 2016 Plus and have started to learn the software. I am starting with a Slideshow creations and that will be using it about 60% of the time and 40% for the home videos. Reason for bying MEP was 1. it was on sale and 2. it included slideshow features.

However my question is if the MEP includes all features of PhotoStory or am I missing out from any cool features. To be honest, I do not have too much time to sit down and spend hours on fixing images and trying out all effects, transitions etc ... hence like the wizard functionality in MEP as a starting point and then modify specific photo / sections / effects.

So again - are there more features in Photostory over MEP? Are there more wizard templates in Photo Story - in MEP there are about 22 preset wizards.

Hi

. . . . MEP 2016 . . . .

I hope that was a typo - MEP 2015 has only recently been released.

MEP and Photostory are two different programs with some commonality aimed at two different sectors of the consumer market.

In terms of functionality MEP is more advanced and versatile then Photostory. So using the . . . . functionality in MEP as a starting point . . . .  then using Photostory is a retrograde step.

Thanks for the reply . Yes the 2016 was a typo - meant the 2015. Whereas I do understand that MEP is meant to be more than Photo Story and that is why I bought it, I was wondering if all that Photostory has to offer is included in MEP 2015 Plus?

So let's say ... for Slideshow wizar, MEP has about 22 presets, but PhotoStory has 200 of them .. I would probably decide to buy it in addition to the MEP.

BTW, like your signature - I guess you read Ed deBono.
