photomanager deluxe crashing

After changing from trial to purchased version, photomanager is crashing when I ask for search for faces. I did unistall/reinstall. Message I get says previous search is still saving....then app closes. I am using Windows 11. Message from Visual C++ Runtime Library says: Runtime Error! Program....(x86)\Magix\Photo Manager Deluxe\17\Photomanager_dlx.exe

I was able to get past the crashing by deleting the database. Since this was a new istall, I did not have much to lose. However, after a day, I got more of the same. My solution has been to ask for a refund. Adios.
