Pixelan AnyFX is Free

I just installed it and it is working in VPX16. It is free.

Firefox did prompt something about the web like to dowload but I ignored it. So far, no issues from Bitdefender or Malwarebytes (both paid versions).

I've had Spicemaster for what seems like ages, and the soft organic effects are really nice.

Installed and tested some effects, all appears OK with VPX 17, however VDL 2026 is not happy with it, closes both effect (Spice) and VDL windows a few seconds after selecting an effect - need to do more testing!

I don't have VDL 2026, but MMS 2024 does not display the source video. In VPX16, no problem.

Thanks for that.

I've tried it on VPX17, VDL2026, Photostory 2026 and so far, no problems.

To get the video to show up in the interface, you first have to Load an FX.

Hi John,

I've yet to test these in VdL 2026, but my first test with them in VPX17 produced exactly the same result as yours with VdL: crash!

But an immediate test repeat was successful!

Hi Jeff

Retested this morning on my laptop, the crash appears to be random, yesterday both VDL 2026 and VPX 17 were OK, this morning VPX 17 crashed first time, then OK, VDL worked fine.

I suspected both initial crashes were caused by the project settings being set to 4K UHD 50fps and the imported video clips were FullHD 25fps, however the crash is intermittent and usually on first 'run'.
