Playing back a video on utube

michaelblountemail wrote on 10/25/2013, 8:42 AM

HI

I finished a video and renderd it from the start to the end point. That was ok and the green render line was where it was meant to be. I opend up export movie to MPEG4 like I normally do and checked all the details and that converted ok. I Uploaded it to Utube and it plays back from start to finish. The only thing is the play circle on the bottom of the utbe screen that tells you how far the Video has to go before it stops, is only three quarters across the screen when my video has finished, so my video just keeps going with nothing on the screen because there is noting more to show anyway.

Any idears anyone.

Regards

Michael

Hi

Check that on the timeline you do not have a blank space after the end of the movie and/or a stray object as well.

To remove blank space see the image below

The press Alt + Delete

Hi,

Before to render your movie, check on timeline is the end is really the end. Use Ctrl A to select all, check the end point, may be something far away to the right garbage or title is located and you have a black space between the end and the garbage.

Hi YR and John

Tried both of your suggestions but still I get the same problem. Also doing this as put two of the tracks out of sink but I can rectify that.

I'm Working with eight tracks and there is something on each one, I have checked every track to the right and zoomed in to make sure there is nothig there but I still get the same problem, never had this before?

Hi YR and John

Sorry forgot to mention when I go into export movie video as MPEG4 the export screen come up, then I press OK and a 2nd screen comes up saying 'sections in the movie which do not contain any image or movie material,' it gives you 3 options ignore, jump to empty section, cancel, I choose ignore.
