Every time I playback my timeline it starts playback at the very beginning. Not where I last stopped. Not where I have clicked on. What am I doing wrong

Go to File - settings - program and in the playback section under spacebar behaviour tick this option. See if this helps at all.

Hi,

Further to what @dond10 indicated, if it persists, try clicking on the double arrow at the bottom right of the timeline (Optimize timeline). This seems to reset the playback marker properly for some reason.
