Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

First, please read this post and give us all the information requested there. You haven't told us anything about your computer nor even the name, the version and variant of the Magix program you are using!

However, I suspect the answer to your question is that you need to right-click on each video object that is affected by this movement and select the option Video Effects>Reset video effects.

Hi

Jeff's suggestion for resetting the effect is a good one, however the downside of it is that it resets all effects on the clip(s).

If you have other effects applied to clips then these will be reset as well.

. . . . Somehow I activated image movement with Effects . . . .

Without knowing how you applied the effect, and the other information Jeff asked for, it is not possible to accurately advise how to remove just that effect.

Hi

You can disable or delete individual effects by selecting the clip with the Effects tab active in the mediapool. There at the bottom of the effects window you will see the Keyframe editor timeline with any effects applied, listed at the left. Find the one called Size/Position and either:- untick the box to the left to disable temporarily, or:- click the down pointing triangle to the right and select "delete effects" from the dropdown menu which will completely remove the individual effect.

Thank you for the comments but I still have the problem. I am running on Microsoft Word (wish I switched to Mac years ago). Looking at my video it actually seems to be speed problem as the images, though clearly visible, are jerking around like the speed is too fast. Checked "Speed" in Effects and it shows 25 (same as video). The sound is not distorted. Any suggestions?

@anthony-stove

Speed in effects is not 25fps, it would be 25 times that. Speed in effects should be 1.

Thanks for the suggestion. In "Speed" I have Factor 1 and Frame Rate as 25. So this doesn't seem to be my problem with the jerking video images.

There appears to be some confusion here over what the actual issue is.

Making a guess, is the problem that the playback in the preview window has become jerky and appears to jump rather than playing smoothly?

We also need more information:

  1. Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM,  hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?

  2. Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.

  3. Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .

  4. Format and resolution of the video on the timeline

  5. A screen shot of the timeline may help.

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant.
