Problem with VST plug-ins

As the topic reads I have some problems with the VST plug-ins in Magix Music Maker 17.

A couple of days ago I bought a Scarlett 2i2 ( http://www.focusrite.com/products/audio_interfaces/scarlett_2i2/ ) The thing is that it came with some cool plug-ins (reverb, delay, eco and so on) and when I open settings by pressing "Y" and change to the directory where my VST plug-ins are stored it finds nothing. The plug-ins are in .dll format and my question is; Why can't I use or find them?   Regards   // A newbie

you can try this and see if it works. 1. if you can move the file with your vst, copy it to magix program vst folder. i had to create a folder for mine. you may have to also. do this before you launch magix. 2. i also found that if you save the file to your desktop, magix will load it when you launch the program. you should see it in the instrument pull down on the arranger. hope this helps.

My name is Michael. I like a lot of styles of music. Played with different types of bands. But its the music in the soul that I value most. I'm not a great guitar player but I try to create a good sound that would take you on a short ride away. You can come back when you are ready. Thank you for listening. And call me Mike.
