Problems with export

Hi - I am having issues with exporting my project to mpeg. Only thing that works is exporting to avi, but that gives bad quality of my videos. I get the following error (apologies it is in Dutch):

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I use Magix Video Deluxe 2020 Windows Store edition on an HP laptop with windows

Thanks!

Nora

Did you check your laptop met all of the programs minimum specifications to run?

Minimum
Your device must meet all minimum requirements to open this product

OS Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher

Architecturex64

Notes Processor: Min. 2.4 GHz (Quad-core processor with 2.8 GHz or better recommended); RAM: min. 4 GB (8 GB recommended); Graphics card: Onboard, min. resolution 1280 x 1024, 512 MB VRAM and DirectX 11 support (Intel Graphics HD 520 or higher recommended for MPEG2/AVC/HEVC); Hard drive space: 2 GB for program installation; Internet connection: Required for registering and validating the program, as well as for some program features. The program requires a one-time registration.

If your project is more than a few minutes and you only have 4GB of ram, the laptop could well be running out of ram.

Also have you got all the C++ distributable updates on your laptop? Have a look here if you haven't. I would try that first.

Ray.

Hi

Are you using Avast or AVG antivirus - there is/was a known issue these AV programs and some others quarantining some of the dll's in Movie Edit Pro.

Check your AV has not quarantined the file stated in the image you posted - you may laso find othe MAgix dlls have been quarantined.

If it has you need to authorise this file and add an exception for the program install folders being scanned from the Real time protection / Ransomeware/Folder Protection feature of the AV. - how you do this will depend on your AV program.
