Problems with sound in and out on Magix Music Studio

Hi There,

I am running windows 7 on my Compaq, the software is Magix Music Studio.. I had the error on wave output notice, so I checked my speaker connection and so that was fine. Before that moment I could record but had no playback. Now when I record nothing shows up on the waves and it records nothing even though the time bar moves across. I have tried multiple mics and nothing. It appears everytime I use this software I have different issues and it drives me mad.

You have 1. Bad or improper connecation....2. An option not set correctly...3, volumne control not turned up somewhere....basically you have no input even tho' you think you do.
