i bought this product in January 2021 and at the weekend I at to format my drive which this was stored on I'm sure I had an upgrade to 2022 around November time last year i have now reinstalled it and its still the original product i bought in january 2021 with no upgrade to the 2022 version any one had this issue

It is my understanding that if you suffer a computer failure and have to reload the project then you will only get the version you bought at the time of purchase and that any subsequent patches or upgrades are lost if the support period has lapsed. One way around this is to have an up to date second cloned C: drive so when one drive fails it can be replaced with the clone. I do this just to save rebuilding my C: drive if it fails. The downside is it also has the same flaws over time as the current C: drive if kept up to date but if cloned when you first have all your programs on a rebuilt drive it can be an advantage.
As @Former user has pointed out, the current paid version of the program will show in your Magix account.

I didn't back up my c drive so I guess I've lost it for future reference that will happen, thankyou. It is not a major loss I bought 2021 because I wanted it the upgrade was a bonus.
