It was doing well for so long and now it crashes almost instantly every time I open my project. I am using Movie Edit Pro Plus 2021. I am using Windows 10 OS and am getting the following info from the crash log. Help! I am trying to finish this project by Christmas!

@Daneane71 Hi, i was curious about this, so searched 'Exception 0xc0000005 "ACCESS_VIOLATION', the're plenty of posts online about it but it varies with no obvious solution, a lot seems to be about ram memory but someone better than me will decipher the rest of your error log for you,

Can you go to the top of the page, click on your icon - My Profile & fill in your Signature with your system specs, Windows version, CPU, GPU & RAM, also which version of Magix you're using, this will then show at the bottom of comments & will help people help you,,

Info updated, thank you. After I posted this question, I cleared up some memory from my computer but still had the same issue. I recall having a similar issue awhile ago and it turned out to be a corrupt file (a photo). I am in the process of narrowing it down but I think it's the same issue. I deleted about a dozen recent photos I had added and so far, so good. I will add them back one by one to figure out which is the culprit. Thank you so much!

ps. remove Device ID & Product ID from your signature, they're personal details that aren't needed & for security shouldn't be shared 😉👍

Hi

I have removed the excess data from the crahs log you have posted.

. . . . Error in module "mxhei_x64.dll"  . . . .

This would suggest the issue is with importing heic/heif images, are the images from a new mobile phone?
