Hi

. . . . When attempting to run Movie Edit Pro 2021 Premium, programme freezes at title screen . . . .

How long did you wait before killing the program with Task Manager?

Try the following:

1. Run the program as Administrator - right click the program shortcut and select Run as administrator

2. If that fails check that there are no Movie Edit Pro processes are running in Task Manager then

  • Using Windows File explorer browse to the folder

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxenn_Premium

where username = your logon name, nn = a 2 digit number eg 27,28, 29 etc, if you have more than one, select the highest number.

  • Locate the videodeluxe.ini file and delete it - this will have the effect of resetting the program to its default settings.

  • Start the program.

3. If that fails to fix the issue try disabling you Antivrus Real time protection, Folder protection and Ransomware features and start MEP.

A couple minutes.

3. If that fails to fix the issue try disabling you Antivrus Real time protection, Folder protection and Ransomware features and start MEP.

None of those steps worked.
