How long did you wait before killing the program with Task Manager? Try the following: 1. Run the program as Administrator - right click the program shortcut and select Run as administrator 2. If that fails check that there are no Movie Edit Pro processes are running in Task Manager then Using Windows File explorer browse to the folderC:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\Videodeluxenn_Premiumwhere username = your logon name, nn = a 2 digit number eg 27,28, 29 etc, if you have more than one, select the highest number. Locate the videodeluxe.ini file and delete it - this will have the effect of resetting the program to its default settings. Start the program. 3. If that fails to fix the issue try disabling you Antivrus Real time protection, Folder protection and Ransomware features and start MEP. How long did you wait before killing the program with Task Manager? A couple minutes. Try the following: 1. Run the program as Administrator - right click the program shortcut and select Run as administrator 2. If that fails to fix the issue try disabling you Antivrus Real time protection, Folder protection and Ransomware features and start MEP. None of those steps worked. 1
