Proxy Import Rotation Bug? MMS 2023

Using MMS 2023 v167, if I import a 9:16 video using Proxy, the video turns 90° to 16:9 when in the Preview monitor.

If I import the video without Proxy it displays correctly.

Movie setting is 16:9.

Could somebody please try to confirm this?

Issue doesn't occur with MEP 2021.

Hi Al,

Unless I'm doing something seriously "wrong" I don't see this, running MMS 2023 Suite (22.0.3.167).

I set MMS to automatically create proxies, imported your file, proxy created, no change to the display format.

Thanks Gentlemen, I had forgotten about turning off Proxys with the lightning bolt; that does the same here, Andy.

Weirdly, it appears that my timeline object is now flipped 180°. I have the sky at the bottom at the end of the clip.

I'll see if we have any more starters.

Andy, nothing a cuppa wouldn't fix or is it the BIG 19?

I get the same as you with Use proxy turned on for preview monitor,however flips right way up when turn off.

The 'blue side is up' - is it because we are top side and you are down under.

The same occurs if your project is set to 9:16 AR and create a proxy file - the proxy file is on its side when using proxy files for the monitor
