Good morning,

I am using Movie Edit Pro 17.

Is it possible to add a hyperlink to my website in the videos I create?

I know in YouTube you can create a link to put on top of tyour uploaded video that is clickable but I was wondering if it was possible to add a clickable hyperlink to a video so it is embeded in it?

Kind Regards,

Thomas

Hi

In a word - No.

In Youtube the link as you have said is put on top of the uploaded video as a layer over the video.

Assuming you want to give the video to others eg as a promotion video, you could create a complete web page incorporating the video (MEP can do this part for you) then edit the HTML to add a layer with the clickable link on it and add some 'decoration', headings, text etc and put these onto some form of media for distribution.

If using a CD or DVD as the media, you could also make the demo run automatically by setting up the 'autorun' functionality  an example is here.
