Random audio blips

Ok, so I recorded a video with OBS. Outside of MEP, the video sounds fine, but whenever I put the video into the editor the audio will has these random audio blips that spike. I don't know if it has something to do with the video editor itself, or that MEP just can't pair with OBS. If anyone can help me, or need anymore specifics with my problem I would be grateful.

This is usually caused by a non standard sample rate or a variable bitrate setting when recording.

MEP is best with a sample rate of 48kHz and a constant bitrate, eg 192 or 256 kbps will produce a good quality audio.
