Hi guys, I am trying to record my guitar through this software and I arm the track and hit record and play but nothing ever records. My guitar is being run through USB...What am I missing here? I used to record in Adobe Audition and just start playing and it shows up...I'm confused!
First, I don't play any instrument and I am far from being an expert on these things, but it might have to be something with the MIdi thing, because in the manual they always talk about playing vsti instruments. You seem to connect the guitar directly to the computer and I think you'll have to use a mic (like when singing) to make Midi signals. I can very well be wrong, but I haven't found anything in the manual talking about real instruments. And for your info, I,m using Magix music Studio 2013.

There can be several different issues at play....go back to the Forum and in Search type in connecting instrument, or guitar or midi and you'll get all sorts of information concerning this. Hopefully , one of them will be just the ticket for you. This question is asked in one form or another about 4 or 5 times a month.
