@Relayer74 It's explained step-by-step there:

Log into the service center on vegascreativesoftware.com

Click "create activation code"

Type in the serial number for the SCS era software

Type in the computer ID provided by the SCS era software when prompted

Copy and paste the activation code provided into the field in the SCS era app prompt.

@Relayer74 I assume you used a different e-mail address in the past? The license might be bound to your old Sony customer account e-mail address. All customer accounts where transferred from Sony to Magix. So you need to login with your old e-mail and password.

Relayer74 wrote on 10/10/2025, 2:54 PM

I'm pretty sure I have used the same email since the beginning

@Relayer74 I suggest you contact customer support at infoservice@magix.net

You'll first get a response from the AI customer support bot. Make sure you respond to it or select that it answer didn't help. It needs to know that you want help from a human support staff member. After that the bot should forward you to a staff member. But it can take some days until you'll get s response. Maybe Monday or Tuesday.

The email address you use to login to the Magix forums and the address you used when your SF-11 was initially registered (with Sony) may be different, so double-check. If all else fails, contact Magix support as was stated and may take a while. As I understand, support for SF is being transitioned over to the Vegas camp.

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Relayer74.

@Relayer74

With apologies, but I have removed the image you posted earlier since it includes your personal and confidential serial key which should never be posted to a public forum like this one. By showing it here you make it possible for "hackers" to use it and so make your problem even greater.

@Relayer74

Please do not post any confidential information in the forum, I have hidden your comment.

in addition to @emmrecs comment, confidential information includes support ticket numbers, email address or any other contact details.

From the Magix response it looks like you are having issues with a Vegas product, in which case this is the wrong forum.

Vegas products, with the exception of Magix Movie Studio 18 to 2025 inclusive, have their own forum, link is at the bottom of this page, I would suggest you post your question there
