Hi, I'm back and I've an update.

Firstly, my hardware has been upgraded to:

i5-3570k (4.0Ghz) ■ 32gb ram [ddr3 1333mhz] ■ 1Tb SSD ■ Asus GTX 970 4gb GPU

Now, when rendering MP4 FullHD 1920x1080 25p - the fastest I can achieve is 30mins video rendered in 35-40 mins. Please bear in mind this is simple video with no effects at all.

In the MPEG-4 Export panel,

■ "Calculate Video Effects on GPU" checkbox is ticked

■ export settings >> Advanced button >> "Hardware Encoding" checkbox (in the Video/H.264 area) is also ticked

@martin-brennan

Hi

Those figures are quite acceptable, however you may find better performance if you turn off "Calculate Video Effects on GPU".

Several users have experienced a slow down in the render rate when this option is checked.
