Hi

Uninstall the subsiduary program Magic Cloud Import also known as Update Notifier, Magix Connect, Connect, Network Sync, which was installed along with the program, then do a full restart of the computer ie Windows button, Power button, Restart.

Many thanks for the prompt response.
I uninstalled Cloud Import and restarted, but the problem was still there. I then found that there was a separate entry for Update Notifier, so I uninstalled that and restarted again. The problem has now gone way. Does this make sense?
