S/P/R select two events, change size but only one gets changed?

Is this a bug or am i missing something?

Add two events/clips/pics to the timeline & select/highlight both,

Add SPR & change the size, only one gets changed,

If using the other effects such as Orientation all selected change.

MEP 2021 both objects get resized.

With the new combined SPR effect MEP 2022 and 2023 changed the mode of behaviour - it only applies to the image, in the multiple selection, that is the darker yellow.

This I believe is the default behaviour due to the significant changes made to the effect in particular the reference point changes.
