Samplitude Pro X3 - Statusbar BUG

JohnnyBlade wrote on 10/28/2017, 6:45 AM

Under the menu WINDOW, there is a command to hide or show the status bar. A check behind the menu item indicates that the status bar is visible.

But if you hide this feature, the status bar remains open the next time you open Samplitude again.

Please, fix that bug!

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums

This is a user to user forum, not a direct link to Magix staff. In order to have this formally recorded as a perfectly reasonable feature request to Magix I suggest you visit this page.

Hi,

I had a bit of trouble finding this. There is no "Window" selection in the menu. The location under the top menu is View, Toolbars, Status Display.

It does the same for me. The Status display comes back upon reopening Sam Pro X3 14.1.0.157.

Like Jeff, raise the issue with Magix, however, the correct support location is different. Go to:

www.magix-audio.com/us/support/

and select Login under the Samplitude, Sequoia and SpectraLayers Pro part.

Note that there Samplitude can be purchased under Magix.com and Magix-audio.com. The latter is the place to see everything about Samplitude. Also, there is a forum specifically for Samplitude and Sequoia at:

support2.magix.net/boards/samplitude/

You should join up there and post queries about Samplitude Pro X there, not here, as there is much more user support there.

I use menu style Samp Pro 11 in my current Samp Pro X3, I forgot to say this, sorry.

Thanks everybody for the links!

The support2.magix.net never send me a email confirmation, so I never could be a member there. I have been tried a long time ago and, as always, nothing.

Anyway, thanks for this place! I believe this forum will grow and become a great place to share knowledge. 😊

Hi Johnny,

I reproduced this bug and will report it on the beta forum.

I also have not been able to register at the "other" Samplitude forum. Tried five or six times now, never receive the conformation email. Used the contact form to ask the admin for help, never heard back. Went to the Support contact form -- they told me I'm registered and all is well. Not.

I understand you. It took me over a year to get into the official forum. And I only managed to get in because I had outside help (forever thanks, Kraznet!). I'm sure that the forum would be much busier if there was not this problem that, sometimes, seems intentional to me.

It wasn't my case, but I hope Larry has a better luck.

Same issue here, no confirmation email yet. Well guarded forum!

JohnnyBlade wrote on 12/11/2017, 11:37 AM

I'm sorry, I can't do nothing, I'm a simple (newbie) member there. You need a miracle as I had. Once you enter there you will enjoy, it's a very friendly community. But, in fact, it could be very bigger.

JohnnyBlade wrote on 12/11/2017, 11:49 AM

Well, I did what I could... I just start a topic in the official forum calling and linking the administrators to this topic.

I said there that there are some guys with 'no confirmation email' problems here.

I really hope one of them come here to help you all... let's see...

The legendary Kraznet (always he!!!!!) is already talking to admins.

Larry_Jones wrote on 12/11/2017, 1:53 PM

I'm all set now. The only time I got an answer was from the software support team, and Ed Myers fixed it for me. I've sent a note to the admin at the forum (Mathias) explaining the situation. It must be a secret society or something. Can't wait, now that I'm a member. 😬

I only have the lite version of the music maker, however, I'm very happy and satisfied with it. I'm a drummer of a band. You could imagine that this program made recording music in corona days very easy. Yesterday I made a whole song, but after finishing it, I realized, that the upper bar with the save, settings, import and export options was missing.I tried restarting the program, restarting my computer and even reinstalling it, but nothing helped. PLEASE HELP

@johnnybigpocket

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Unfortunately, your first post here has nothing at all to do with the subject of this, now old thread, which is about problems with Samplitude Pro X3.

Please do not hijack another user's thread but start a new thread with full details of your computer, its software etc. The image you linked to can be directly shown in your post; just click the up-arrow in the blue circle at the top of the box in which you type your question and navigate to where the image is stored - please don't put it into a Word document as you have with the current one.
