screen capture not working correctly

I have the Premium version of MEP 2017. I never had a problem with all previous plus versions that allowed

screen capture recording. Whatever resolution I try and whatever part of screen I try, it is cutting off most of screen.

For example, I tried to capture a small segment of you tube clip, and formed my box around the clip like I did in the past.

What I see is like 1/4 or partial capture of area I was capturing.

Trying different variations or even full screen results in the same partial capture.

Appreciate any tips or if this is a known problem. Thank you

Hi,

screen capture is a specific function and can be done easily with Snagit software or Movavi or the free Screencast-o-matic software. Personnally i use Movavi for Youtube. To capture a picture or just the screen you can use the free Tool screen capture in Windows10. If you have in mind screen capture for training use the best software like Camtasia Studio. Magix offer a good quality screen capture function but is not developped as specific task like special software to do this job.
