I've been using SF since 4.5 back in 2000 and I recently upgraded from SF 14 to SF 18. Now, I'm trying to get used to the new batch converter, but I'm already pining for the old one (luckily I still have SF 14 installed). But here are my issues and I'm wondering has anyone got around these:

1) when I create a new batch and I'm adding the presets, they keep changing back to a default. For instance, in one, I added Normalise, changed the settings and set it as a preset (normalise to peak -6 dB). But every time I click "edit" on that preset, it's defaulted back to -14 dB RMS. It's driving me crazy because even though I do think it's using the -6 dB peak preset I created, it's showing something else when I click EDIT. And if I'm not seeing the parameters I set, I can't trust the conversion

2) I can't drag and drop folders of files to be processed into the batch converter, like in the old one. I have to navigate to it from the very top of the tree. And then when I click "add folder" to add another one, it sends me all the way back to the top of the tree again. I tried "Add..." instead and it behaves better, but you can only select files

Has anyone had a better experience than me?
