Hi All ~ I just upgraded from Movie Edit Pro plus 2013 where I had easy access to "old Movie" preset video effect to Movie Edit Pro Plus where I do not.

Instead what I have is 'black and white' at either high or low resolution (but with no grain, scratches and blooms added) under "movie looks" or I can choose Sepia or Vignetted but apparently can't add more than one effect at a time (terribly helpful).

Any ideas? Please don't tell me to go load a 3rd party piece of software. I don't even mind buying new filters and presets but don't see much available in the 'store'.

I just stumbled into the option to add "intro" where I see "old movie" options, so the effects are in the library somewhere... but here is a fun fact - when I try to add my own intro AND the intro from the templates, it removes the first intro. How much fun is that?

In the 2013 version, I could deconstruct the old movie effect to play with the flare, scratches etc... but the title that has the effects I want - can't be deconstructed. Useful. So to recap - I know that the effects are loaded into the program as far as being accessible to templates, and there are a number of templates and effects I can see are there... but there is not apparent single stop for these effects ... I tried "art filter" and "mask generator" and "General Options"... but nope.

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

So tried using the 'silent movie' template, which rather than offering me a series of effects to apply to my movie (which would actually be useful) now forces me to a new interface with locked down scene order and timing. Perfect. I can't change out music, I can't change out scene order, I can't adjust timing.

I can't believe I paid extra money to end up frustrated with having fewer tools and options to control my project.
