Sound Blaster z no midi sound - Solutions?

At first, it was working fine. Then I switched to direct sound so I can use another program in which I can to talk to someone. Then switched back to Magix Low Latency 2016 no midi sound. Upgraded to 2021 it worked again but the same problem occurred and now it doesn't work at all?

I tried reinstalling the sound card driver and it worked but then the same issue reoccured.

Any solutions?

What do you mean by no Midi sound? Do you mean that no sound is heard from an instrument when using the virtual or external midi keyboard?

Ok, I figured it out. An app had control over the soundcard. By disabling it, I can use the instruments in Music Maker.
