Sound Forge 10 is not recognizing audio input

Hello, I have a Windows 10 Desktop using Sound Forge 10. Audio is normally input to the back of the Window computer from an analog sound board. Recently Sound Forge has stopped recognizing the audio when trying to record. In the record window, when i hover the mouse cursor over channel 1 or channel 2, it says "no device". When i go to Options, Preferences, Audio, it says it is using Microsoft Sound Mapper. Does anyone have any suggestions?

@JBE Have you checked if microphone access is allowed in the Windows settings? Sometimes this gets disabled after a Windows update.

@JBE And the switch for Desktop Apps? The first switch is only for Microsoft Store apps.

it says it is using Microsoft Sound Mapper.

Go to "Options> Preferences> Audio" and switch the record device to 'MS Classic Wave Driver.' Does it display the input that is selected in your Windows sound settings?
