I have ACID PRO 11 doesn't startup, I have Vegas Pro 23.0 doesn't startup I have Soundforge Pro 18 works except white noise in tracks, that also happens on the Movie Studio. I've has the software 3 days now. It was all working and now not. No human replies. I still have 11 days to get a refund. Mmmmm I wonder what I'll doo. Refund is looking favourite. And I'l go back to my trusty old W7 machine.

By the way I bought the Vegas Pro Suite 23 package. So far there is nothing pro about any of it.

Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 installs the Magix Low Latency ASIO audio driver which is an old version of ASIO4ALL.

This old version of ASIO4ALL seems to be incompatible with modern devices. You can uninstall it with the following steps:

press the Windows key + R on your computer keyboard, and type REGEDIT in the Open field and press Enter. This opens the Windows Registry Editor.

Then navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ASIO > Magix Low Latency 2016:

Now, simply right click the Magix Low Latency 2016 folder, and delete it. Be careful not to edit or to delete anything else!

Then restart your computer. Please select the Restart option and not the Shut down option.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for this information. I followed the steps, and the software now loads and opens. However, it will not allow me to save the vinyl recording. Please see images. It get stuck at 0%.

@Justin-Brummer

I see you are attempting to save your file to OneDrive. Try using a different location on your computer, NOT your desktop either!

As a general rule, with most types of files it is considered to never be a good idea to save directly to OneDrive, or any other cloud backup service. Rather, save locally and then backup (copy) that file to the cloud.

Thanks. The desktop is both local and on the one drive. The whole computer backs up onto the one drive automatically

I tried a folder not attached to the one drive, it still does not work

I did a test in saving in WAV, and it works. It will not work in saving as an MP3. Any thought on how to resolve this?

Hi @Justin-Brummer you can try resetting Sound Forge and clearing the cache. 'File> "Reset all preferences and clear cached data" I do not think the 'Proxy compressed formats' setting affects encoding, though it often resolves MP3 playback issues.
You also might try 'Activate legacy MP3 encoder' which can be enabled in the (hidden) 'Internal' menu.
