Sound Forge Again wants Administrator

I've had this problem repeatedly over the years that when i try to open Sound Forge, I get an error message saying that it needed an administrator. I was told in September 2019 that this was a problem due to the way that Sony used to register their products. I contacted Magix and was given a set of steps to follow. That worked a few times but last March, following the steps caused some malfunctions in my computer which necessitated taking it into Best Buy for the Geek Squad to fix.. I really like the simplicity of Sound Forge, but I cannot risk not being able to use my laptop. If I were to download the current version of Sound Forge, would it still have this problem?

If you are referring to the occasional Sound Forge 10 'Elevated Privilege' issue after 'some' Wn 10 updates, Magix versions (12 and later) do not have this problem.

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Stefan-Fisher and SF can be set to run as administrator by default in "Properties> Compatibility"... there is the registry tweak as well.
