Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Jesse-Rodriguez.

Confirm you are you using the same email address (and serial) you used when you you originally registered and activated SFAS-17. The email address and the activation serial are paired and must be used together.

You can try deactivating SFAS-17 for the PC you are using, then reactivate. To deactivate, log into your "Magix Service Center account", select "My Products and choose your product. Go to 'Show More Details' and choose 'Deactivate'.

Assuming you purchased SF-17 directly from Magix, you can ask for a refund by emailing Magix Customer Service:
sales@magix.net -or- infoservice@magix.net

Greetings. I tried deactivating the software as you suggested and I was able to deactivate the product. It shows that I have the ability to install the software on 2 machines now. However, when I try to activate the software again I get a dialog box that states: "The serial number you entered is invalid or may apply to another product. Please make sure you entered it correctly or check whether you accidentally entered the serial number of another product. If the problem persists, you can get help on the support website. Error code: -14" I can confirm that the serial number and email used are the correct ones as I verified them against the information I have for the software in the My Products section of my account.

I just tried activating the software again and this time it took. Thanks again for your assistance. It is much appreciated.

I have downloaded the sound forge 16 and I am getting a message from microsoft saying the app your trying to install is not a Microsoft-verified app. I am not sure where to go from here.
