Sound Forge Pro 11 missing from MAGIX account; support loop with Boris

PLease help.

I purchased Sound Forge Pro 11 directly from Sony Creative Software. I am logged into MAGIX using the original Sony purchase email. Sound Forge Pro 11 does not appear under My Products. When I try to register the original serial, MAGIX says the serial has already been used. The original Sony installer installs correctly but cannot activate because the Sony registration server times out.

MAGIX support automatically redirects me to Boris FX. Boris FX has confirmed that legacy Sound Forge Pro 11 licenses are still hosted and managed by MAGIX and that Boris FX cannot access or activate them. When I sent that response back to MAGIX, I received the same automated redirect again.

I need a MAGIX representative to locate the existing Sony-era registration and either attach Sound Forge Pro 11 to my MAGIX account, provide the MAGIX-compatible installer, reset the registration, or provide the supported offline activation method.

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. As such, there are no Magix staff regularly here so your request is unlikely to be seen by anyone who can directly help you, sorry. Also, please do NOT post confidential personal data, like Ticket Numbers; I have edited your post to remove them.

Magix Support should not have redirected you to BorisFX; the version you have is one that Magix "took over" when they acquired the software from Sony. Hence, they are still responsible.

Have you tried emailing to infoservive@magix.net with full details of your problem, including order number, serial key, any other data which will help to confirm our purchase, and ask for their immediate help in resolving the problem?
