Hi

. . . . There is like a funny bzzzz.... sound and the voice also sounds like crazy . . . .

Was the GoPro inside a waterproof housing when making recordings?

I get a similar effect when my Sony sportscam is inside its waterproof housing and is not underwater, this is due to the watertight/proof membranes between the microphones and the sound source.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your reply. No, it wasn't in the waterproof housing. There is no problem with this video when I watch it on my PC.... so I assume there must be any setting problem in the Magix... but no idea what it could be.... I am so desperate already.....

Hi

Can you analyse the video clip that is causing the 'buzz' with MediaInfo and post back the results from the Text view.

Also we need more information about your system:

  1. Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset, RAM,  hard drive configuration, sizes and free space?

  2. Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.

  3. Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .

Also please read this post before replying and add any other information you think may be relevant.

Thanks

ok, I have found the problem now I think.... The Hero6 files are MP4 and after checking the Magix manual it looks that this video edit software does not support MP4 :( Disappointing....

Anyway John, thanks a lot for trying to help... Now have to think what to do with it now. It looks like I don't have any proper software where I can edit my clips :(

@ewa-bek

??? Of course MEP imports MP4 files. I use them all of the time. Where did you get this misinformation? Your problem is elsewhere.

GoPro Hero 6? You are one of the first. MP4 is a container. The problem may be with whatever it is that GPH6 puts in the container. This is where John EB can probably help you further.

I had an experience with my Yi4K action cam, where VPX would simply lock up if I tried to play a video clip from the camera. It was due to the particular audio bitrate that was being used. I reduced the quality and now it's fine. You could also try doing a straight copy of a clip in something like Xmedia Recode which will put some variations on the encoding which also worked with my files.

@ewa-bek

To quote John CB:-

. . . . The problem may be with whatever it is that GPH6 puts in the container. . . .

Please read my previous post again and supply the required information, especially the MediaInfo data for one of the video files that is causing the issue.

Also if the video is not confidential upload a video clip, about 10 - 15 secs long which shows the problem, to somewhere like Dropbox or another file sharing site so we can try it on our systems.

Note: We need the original file intact so please do not load the file up to the forum or sites such as Youtube, Vimeo etc - they will convert the file which makes it 'useless' for testing.
