Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

If the SSL certificates are installed on your hosting server then there is nothing you need to do in XWD. The change from http to https will be automatically picked up by any browser accessing your site(s).

Just to be clear: you do not install the certificates in your software, your host should install them to the root of your server. However, sometimes you may need to place them in the root folder of your site if your host does not do this automatically for you.

I have just made a site using Xara hosting. It comes up as unsecured, how can I make it HTTPS?

You will need to purchase an SSL Certificate, most likely from your hosting provider and ask them to install it for you.
