I don't know if this is the right place to post this... It would be great if it were possible to assign star ratings to different sound pool sounds and maybe, also have a favorites list? I noticed Cakewalk Music Creator 6 has a star rating feature and I think it's an excellent idea.
Perhaps. Some people may find something like that useful. However, since musical preference is so heavily dependent on personal taste, I'm not sure everyone would feel the same.
Hmm.. maybe you don't understand what I'm suggesting? It would be a user assigned, personal taste, rating to help the user keep track of the sound pieces they like by assigning them a star rating by just clicking on the star value from 0-5 This is used in many graphics programs and browsers like Adobe Bridge, ACDsee and others. It is extremely useful in keeping track of images.
Also, for those that don't want it, they wouldn't have to use it, that's pretty simple. But I'm sure a lot of users would welcome it and it would be an improvement for many. It would make it much easier to remember different pieces that one likes for use in a project with out having to play them over and over.
I think this is a nice idea.

Yes...details do add clarity. Without it, people who don't have the same experiences that you do may make incorrect assumptions to fill in the gaps....like me!
