I have just upgraded Movie Edit Pro Plus (ver 20.0.1.65) and was hoping that the "Takes" function had been rectified. Sadly it still causes a programme crash if I try using it. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

The takes issue I had appears to have been related to the image icon created for the first take was not used for the second, when saving multiple takes from the same clip. I suspect the program was trying to create the same icon however froze due to it 'being in use' and could not be replaced.
After deleting the H0 and .HDP files for the video clip concerned the Takes started behaving normally - so far.

As I mentioned earlier, I have just upgraded to Movie Edit Pro Plus (ver 20.0.1.65) and another fault I find is that Scene Recognition doesn't seem to be working - when I click on "Start Search" nothing happens - used to work perfectly with my earlier version - now nothing!

Works fine in MEP v 20.0.1.65 for me, see video below.
Are you waiting long enough for it to start, depending on your computer specification it could 10 - 30 seconds before you see the progress bar move and longer for the first scene to be detected.
