The file format of "22.MVP" cannot be read!

As you can see, the MAGIX MOVIE EDIT PRO 16 PREMIUM software says that cannot read its own MVP files.

Last night I was editing this particular file and nothing weird happened. 

It doesn't do anything like that with the other MVP files.

I tried to change its name as somebody had said in this forum and nothing happened. Same message.
Also, another one suggested to find a file named something like "MovieEdit.ini". I tried to find it but couldn't find it in the AppDate, neither anywhere, since I used the SearchEngine of the PC. However, I don't think I can find the solution with this file either.

I updated the QuickTime. Nothing. 

The videos I used for the MVP file are in their proper position.

I use WINDOWS 10. 

I would really appreciate if you guys help me because I work with this file the last 20 days every day for hours.

I assume you mean Movie Edit Pro 2016 - if so please use the full name to avoid confusion with the earlier version 16.

The fixes you have tried are not related to the problem you are having - the project file is probably corrupt - please be careful making 'random' fixes which do not relate to a problem you have.

Open MEP and select File, Load backup project.

The dialog shown below will open displaying all the auto backups it can find.

Load the latest and see if this is OK, if not work backwards through the backups until you find a good one - you may lose some of the edits you have made when you revert to an earlier version.

Once you have a good backup loaded save it as a new project.

As you can see from the following pic, it is like I never edited a file yesterday:

It has only for 04/07 but I am looking for 04/08. 

 

EDIT: OMG! I found it with your advice but I just search it in the "Documents" Folder and not through "File>Load backup project."
