Hi all,

I've been reading about using Xara to create animations and masks etc. in VPX and MEP, and was thinking this looks like a neat and useful thing. However, there seems to be a bug going round causing the xar objects to disappear, as well as this post from @browj2 in the VPX11 release thread that indicates that support for Xara within the video editing products is being dropped.

How did this all net out? Is support to be ongoing, and the bugs fixed, or not? I'd like to buy Xara and give it a try, but I don't really need it and won't waste my time and money if it's a dead end.
