Thumbnails not visible in editor and unable to change opacity/volume

My computer is a dell t3500 with 12 gb ram, w3690 processor, gtx 750 ti graphics card.

I have run into an issue in which I cannot view timeline thumbnails or waveforms and cannot change volume/opacity of them. This will be a hindrance to a project I have been working on for quit a while, so I wonder what I can do in order to get past this obstacle. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

In order to be able to see the thumbnails of those video objects you simply need to zoom in on the timeline because the horizontal length of each object is too short.. This will allow each object box to lengthen and so show the images. The easiest way to do this is to use Ctrl+Mousewheel or Ctrl+Up Arrow.

The problem of the "missing" waveforms is similar, but in this case it is because of the vertical height of your tracks. In this case use Shift+Mousewheel to expand the height of the track.

As am alternative to both these methods, if you look to the bottom right hand corner of the timeline you will see two "+" and "-" signs. The one on the bottom edge affects object length, the one on the right hand vertical edge the track height.
