@DugsBugs

Hi Doug

This is the Simplitec - PC Check and Tuning program that installs with VPX trying to update at launch, and not being able to for some reason. Best to uninstall the PCCT program, unless you use it.

@Scenestealer
Thanks Peter.
Is that the "Update Notifier"
That's the only one in my program list that has the same icon.
Are you saying it is there for when the program notifies us when there is a new update.
Will I still get notifications if I uninstall it.
Doug.

Hi Doug, Peter

. . . . Is that the "Update Notifier" . . . .

It is the Update Notifier program, I have seen this message a several times over 2 - 3 days on my laptop about 2 weeks ago, I do not have the Simplitec software installed, I disabled Update Notifier and the popups have not reappeared, if you do not use Camera MX or the Cloud import function then you can uninstall it, though it will be re-installed when/if you upgrade to a newer version.

@johnebaker
Great thanks for that John.
Not causing me any issues. Just didn't know what it was.
Doug.
