J'ai changé mon PC et je suis maintenant sous Windows 11. J'ai plusieurs projets que je n'ai pas encore convertis en vidéo et j'ai aussi un projet commencé sous Platinum16 que je voudrais bien compléter avec Studio 2025, comment faire? Est-ce mieux avec Deluxe 2026? Y a-t-il un moyen d'utiliser Platinum 16 sous Windows 11? Je n'ai pas l'intention d'acheter un PC avec Windows 10 juste pour faire ce travail. Il s'agit de vidéos de voyages et je tiens à en conserver le souvenir

Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 16 should work on Win 11 without problems.

Movie Studio 25 is a different programme so your VMS16 'vf' project files won't properly work in it. You will only be able to import your trimmed clips according to posts on this problem. Anyway it has a 30 day trial period so you can try for yourself.

I had ordered Magix 25 because I was told Platinum 16 wouldn't work under Windows 11. Frustrating to spend money on false information but at least it was a small amount

Who told you Platinum 16 wouldn't work under Windows 11? You have only posted this one topic to this forum. The only incompatibility issues that would arise is if you had used effects within a project that may have either been removed or replaced with a newer version in a new program. The old version is still a 64 bit program.

Hallo @Henorm,

If I'm reading your thread correctly, you can simply install VMS16 under Windows11, but your "VF project files" won't work properly in VDL2025. You can only import your trimmed clips, as discussed in the article on this topic.

Sorry to hear that.

There has been a lot of misinformation about the true upgrade path from Magix and what it entails that included for a short while an offer from Magix to upgrade to Vegas Pro at a cheap price for those not wishing to go with the Magix version of Magix Movie Studio. It caused a lot of bewildered folk to create topics here with similar problems.

I hope your re-install of V16 goes without problems.
