Transitions

It seems than every link that says contact support leads me back. I"m unhappy with the so called help in this movie studio 2022 platinum. I've tried to figure out how to add transitions between objects a project, but it seems impossible, and I certainly can't find it if it's in there. I suppose I'll get 17 different answers on how to do this, but I guess it's all I've got.

Hi

Your question would suggest you are relatively new to using Movie Studio, for most common, and some more advanced tasks, there is a list of tutorials here.

Though the tutorials refer to Movie Edit Pro, they also apply to Movie Studio and the one effect that has changed is the Size, Position and Rotation, which though looking different and has a different reference point for the positioning and rotation, it is now the centre of the screen and the centre of the video/image object and some of the features are more editable.

Thank you gentlemen. I just upgraded from Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10, and while much of the 2022 edition is familiar, there are some differences. What I miss most it a written help and search section where I can enter "add transitions," for example, and find out how to add transitions. I work much better when I can find written directions for what I'm looking. If you must have video tutorials only, the indexing might be a little user friendly. thanks again

There is a written pdf manual. Open it, search for transitions, p172, perhaps? But for a better understanding, watch my tutorials and save yourself a lot of time.
