@MCK

Hi

Thanks for the error message - which version of Video Pro X have you installed - as found under Help, About.

@MCK

Have you purchased VPX recently - you said you installed within the past couple of weeks - but the current latest version is 18.0.1.82, so you are currently three major version upgrades behind? If this is a recent purchase, and not simply a reinstall, where did you buy the app?

Looking at the error details in your screenshot, I suspect the problem may be that the Google API has changed since that particular version of TMA was produced, hence the problem.

You're right. I bought VPX back in 2017. But a few laptops and a major house move later, I decided to re-install VPX for a new project.
So, do I need to buy the latest version?

@MCK@MCK

Hi

. . . . I bought VPX back in 2017 . . . .

That is what I suspected too - the error message is because, as Jeff has surmised, Google have since changed the way their maps are connected to, this renders old versions of TMA obsolete.

AFAICS it is not possible to download the latest version program on its own, it is bundled with the software.

Hi,

There is a sticky on the French forum showing how to use/fix TMA. You can try it after translating it.
