Trouble continuing recording 2nd side of a vinyl record

Wallace-Jackson wrote on 1/15/2021, 2:44 PM

After recording the first side of a Vinyl record I press the pause button but when I start to record the second side it overwrites the first part. The instructions infers that the cursor should be at the end but for some reason it returns to the beginning. What is needed to continue the recording. Using Sound Forge Audio Studio 14.0.

@Wallace-Jackson

Hi

You are the second user, I know of, that has this issue.

The 'workaround' is to record the first side and then save/export the recording to a suitable format eg WAV. Then record the second side and save/export that - do not overwrite the first side audio file.

Start a new project and import both parts and edit as you wish.
