Unable to open Magix Music MX programme

I have Music MX download but have never attempted to use it till now. Not sure how I got it in the first place, I have a number of Magix products (Rescue Video tapes, MEP 2012, 2013, 2015, 2015, Sound archives etc.) I guess it came with one of those products. Problem is that although MX opened initially, it will not now go beyond the rectangular title which freezes on the screen. I think it happened when I pressed the 'acoustic piano' key. I can only get so far as a message at the bottom of the (frozen) screen which says "Magix Vita File not found. Vita could not find the file in image file YT-MX Acoustic Piano, Norm XAO" This is all meaningless to me. I have Windows 7. Can anyone help? Thanks

Assuming the program is registered - have you downloaded and installed the second part of the program -see under  File, Update program . . ., Download free synthesizer . . . .

Thanks for your advice but I can't open the programme at all, so I can't get to 'File, update programme, download free synthesiser'. I can see the programme listed under documents, also under files, and I can see the help and the manual etc.but that's as far as I get. I  can also see 'uninstall Magix music maker MX'. Is it worth uninstalling the re-installing or would I wipe everything out? Bill
