Hey, I have tried over a dozen times now! Anyone else have difficulty updating to the latest Pro X? I follow the above steps, restart the game, and it doesn't update. Tried restarting windows, restarting pc, Windows 10 up to date, no antivirus. Just prompts me to update again. Thoughts? Thanks!

You say you have no antivirus app installed, which means that Windows will have defaulted to using Windows Defender, I think, whose "protection" is, almost certainly, blocking access to folders that the VPX Update needs to write to.
As a first step, try again with Windows Defender protection service turned off.
